Spring 2012 Summary Video

Jet Lag....

We left the hotel at 6:30am Saturday morning Kenya time (2:30am Texas time) and took a bus to Mombasa.  From there we flew to Nairobi.  We left Nairobi at 4:40pm Saturday afternoon Kenya time (8:40am Texas time) and flew to Dubai.  We left Dubai at 2:45am Sunday morning Dubai time (5:45pm Saturday evening Texas time) and finally arrived at DFW around 10:00am Sunday morning.

And we started a timer as soon as we left the hotel and this was the elapsed time of travel when we pulled up to the gate at DFW.

What a day and a half of travel!

Joy Fellowship Church, Kilifi

Here we are on the final day at Joy Fellowship Church in Kilifi, Kenya.

There are not enough words to describe the week it has been.  We are all so grateful to have been a part of this and can't wait to get home and share our individual stories with our family and friends.  To all of the pastors, Joy Fellowship kitchen staff, and ALARM team members:  Thank You and God Bless You!!

We made it to Nairobi!

After a long journey we finally made it to Nairobi. The weather is actually rainy and cool but it will be different in Kilifi. We all got a good night's rest and will be going to church this morning and then on to Kilifi in the afternoon. Thank you to everyone for your prayers!
